THE ENNEAGRAM

“When I discover who I am, I’ll be free.”

-Ralph Ellison

The Enneagram is a powerful tool for finding freedom through understanding the human personality. It describes in rich detail 9 distinct ways of seeing the world that drive our habits of emotion and thought. We have each come into the world with one of these 9 viewpoints, referred to as Enneagram Types, which gets reinforced and overused. Through understanding, awareness, and ownership of what we repeatedly do, we can create an Inner Observer that honestly reveals the box in which we have unwittingly put ourselves. Self development practices grounded in Enneagram awareness and refined by a multitude of master teachers provide a roadmap for how to find our way out of our unique box.

Further study of the Enneagram reveals 3 Basic Instincts, 3 Centers of Intelligence, 3 different approaches to conflict and change, and 27 subtypes that describe with uncanny accuracy our thoughts and emotional habits. The journey begins with discovering one’s Enneagram Type.

SOME OF WHAT CLIENTS ARE SAYING…

"While serving as chair of the Governance Committee for St John’s Health Board of Trustees, I worked with Carrie and Pauline to conduct a workshop that would allow everyone to get to know each other quickly and in a deeply meaningful way. This was a dynamic board composed of accomplished current and former executives who had not yet met in person as a group. The Enneagram expertise and facilitation skills of Carrie and Pauline resulted in a very successful workshop and I believe helped accelerate the integration of our team. Personally, the Enneagram work I did with Carrie and Pauline as part of this effort provided me with new and remarkably useful personal insights. Over my professional career I have participated in many leadership and team development activities, this was definitely one of the best. Thank you, Freedom Finders!”

—Sue Critzer, Board Member, St. John’s Health

“The Enneagram workshop Pauline and Carrie provided for me and 6 girlfriends in celebration of my milestone birthday in Jackson Hole was more than I imagined it would be. Their focus on what’s positive and intelligent about each Enneagram Type is heartfelt and provides an opportunity to look at oneself and others with fresh eyes, empathy, and compassion. We laughed, we shed a few tears, and we learned new ways to be with ourselves and others. I couldn’t have given myself a better birthday gift and highly recommend you do the same for your birthday or another special occasion sometime. Thank you, Carrie and Pauline! "

—Ida G.

“The Typing Interview with Carrie was a sublimely unique and personal experience for me. I learned more about myself and my personal idiosyncrasies and how to reconcile all of that through the profoundly helpful and eerily accurate explorations and solutions the Enneagram provides. I highly recommend the experience so that you too can better understand yourself and others around you.“

—Brooks, College Student

“Carrie is a true expert in her field. I was blown away by her knowledge & insight, and learned so much about myself in the process. I also gained valuable understanding of the thoughts & actions of my family, friends, and colleagues, which equates to more compassion and empathy on my end. My session with Carrie was a powerful experience that changed the way I live my life.”
